How to pair Bluetooth with your Allworx desktop phone

Welcome to another exciting edition of Tech Thursday, where we explore the latest and greatest in technology to make your life easier and more efficient. Today, we have a special treat for all our Allworx and Intermedia phone system users out there. We’re going to show you how to pair any Bluetooth headset to your intermedia, or Allworx 9312 desktop phone!

Without further ado, let’s jump right in. Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to connect your Bluetooth device to your Allworx phone:

1. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make sure it is in pairing mode.
2. On your Allworx 9312 phone, press the button pictured above (1) and then select “Settings”.
3. Use the arrow keys (2) to navigate to “Bluetooth”.
4. Press the “Select” button again and then select “Turn on”, then select “Scan.”
5. Your Allworx phone will start scanning for available Bluetooth devices. Once your device appears on the list, select it and press the “Pair” button.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

Here is how to do it if you have the Intermedia phone system:

1. Before You Begin Make sure that the Bluetooth headset is discoverable. Navigate to Menu > Basic > Bluetooth.
2. On the T53W/T53 phones, navigate to Menu > Settings > Basic Settings > Bluetooth.
3. On the T54W/T53W/T53 phones, select Scan to search the Bluetooth devices.
4. The phone proceeds to scan the local Bluetooth devices, and the phone screen displays the available Bluetooth devices.
5. Find your Bluetooth headset and select Connect.
6. On the T57W phones, tap your Bluetooth headset. The Bluetooth icon appears on the phone screen.

And that’s it! You can now enjoy hands-free calling on your Allworx and Intermedia phone using your Bluetooth device.
